Madeleine, Shawn's Mom comes to visit Shawn and help SBPD in psych evaluations. Shawn is not comfortable with his father's friendly behavior towards her. Also at the same time, Gus is bound to stop working at the Psych Agency as his boss feels that it is interfering his work at the pharmaceutical company. He wants Gus to quit but before that Boss has another case for Gus and Shawn to find out who is haunting his house.

Gus has finally planned his and Shawn's high school reunion after thirteen years of struggle. On the reunion, Shawn catches up with an old friend, Abagail. The chat gets disturbed when Shawn supposedly sees someone falling out the window to death. When they check the ground then there is no body. Shawn is sure about seeing someone. He is charged to quickly solve the crime.

Shawn and Gus are able to manage to a daredevil show which stars Dutch The Clutch Jenkins. As he attempts to perform a Motorcycle jump through a Ring Of Fire, Shawn figures out that the fuel pipe is cut off his motorbike and understands that someone is trying is to kill him. Soon they get to know that it isn't the first time when such an attempt has been made. This makes Dutch Hire Shawn and Gus hire for the Case.

When Shawn, Gus and Henry return home, they find that there is an intruder in Henry's House. The Intruder is none other than Jack, Henry's Brother. He is in search for an ancient Spanish treasure and that is the reason for he being here. He is in Santa Barbara and for the task he seeks Shawn and Gus' help. The recovering is not that easy though as the group is there to avoid Jack's interest in the treasure.

In this Episode (S3Ep5): Henry solved one of the biggest cases when he stopped an anti-government radical who was about to blow police headquarters. Due to issues in the search warrant, the criminal is out of prison. The case is bound to be reopened now. Chief Vick puts Shawn as the in-charge and wants no involvement from Henry. But Henry can't be stopped. Lassiter and Juliet on the other side have offered McNab to have cases of his own choice if he takes one case of their choice.

In this Episode (S3Ep6): Vick seeks Shawn and Gus' help to investigate a death case with happened on the Offshore oil rig. Vick finds the coast to be unsafe and tricked. The offshore area is not under Vick's jurisdiction and is handled by Barbara Dunlap. Soon they come to know that Barbara is Chief Vick's Sister. Shawn and Gus are now facing sibling rivalry.

In this Episode (S3Ep7): The latest robbery tape reveals that some women are responsible for the robbery. Shawn figures out that the local roller derby team is involved. Juliet is all set to go undercover as one of the team members. Shawn inspite being told still gets involved in the investigation. Also Gus is busy preparing for an exam which bring Shawn and Juliet closer.

Gus was making a usual deposit in the bank when someone pulled out a gun and made everyone in the bank a hostage. Shawn is waiting outside in the car unaware about the situation and asks Lassiter and Juliet about the sudden rush of police cars outside the bank. Shawn knowing that Gus is stuck in the bank wants to rush into the bank but the SWAT negotiator is not happy about the idea of Shawn going inside the bank.

In this Episode (S3Ep9): After being requested by a small girl Shawn and Gus save a Santa from jail. They feel happy on saving him but soon realize their mistake. Both the father and the daughter are con artists are plan something wrong in the Christmas eve. They now set out to find things out as Joy's, Gus's sister and Shawn's once fling would also be there.

This makes Shawn filled with confidence about the fact that its a murder and hence gets into the chilling mystery of finding out who is the killer of Shabby.
