Lassiter and Juliet lead the investigation to find Dwayne Tancana, a thief-turned-murderer who escaped police custody due to a mistake by Juliet. They soon find out that the victim’s husband, angered that Tancana managed to escape, has hired a bounty hunter to find the criminal. Juliet urges Lassiter to bring Shawn and Gus on the case, and the two discover that the bounty hunter is their childhood idol, Byrd Tatums.
